My work sits at the intersection of qualitative research and evaluation: two disciplines that, at their best, collect meaningful data by creating the conditions for real conversation; and turn what emerges into lessons and decisions that actually matter.

Hi, I'm Cristiana Martin.

I'm a sociologist, qualitative researcher and evaluator with 10+ years and 50+ projects working alongside nonprofits, international cooperation agencies, governments, and private sector organizations — in Brazil and internationally.

 

I'm passionate about the work these organizations do, and about making sure evaluation and research serve them — not the other way around. In recent years, I've honed my facilitation skills to lead these processes in ways that create genuine learning experiences, not just final reports.​

​

I'm also a member of the American Evaluation Association and have presented my work at international evaluation conferences in the US, Brasil, Greece, and France.

Cristiana is a professional who combines her repertoire and technical knowledge in applied research (especially in the field of systematisation and evaluation) with sensitivity and flexibility to develop coherent solutions that are connected to the demands and specificities of each process.

Her highly rigorous and high-quality deliverables do not neglect care for relationships, people, and organisational moments of the clients, and partners involved in the work processes.
