Cristiana Martin
Evaluation and Research Consultant

Good decisions need good data.
They come from asking the right questions, to the right people, in the right way.
Whether understanding what a community thinks and needs, how a program is performing, or what an organization is actually achieving, what matters is not just what you ask, but how you listen.
My work sits at the intersection of qualitative research and evaluation: two disciplines that, at their best, collect meaningful data by creating the conditions for real conversation; and turn what emerges into lessons and decisions that actually matter.

Hi, I'm Cristiana Martin.
I'm a sociologist, qualitative researcher and evaluator with 10+ years and 50+ projects working alongside nonprofits, international cooperation agencies, governments, and private sector organizations — in Brazil and internationally.
I'm passionate about the work these organizations do, and about making sure evaluation and research serve them — not the other way around. In recent years, I've honed my facilitation skills to lead these processes in ways that create genuine learning experiences, not just final reports.
I'm also a member of the American Evaluation Association and have presented my work at international evaluation conferences in the US, Brasil, Greece, and France.
Trusted by organizations across sectors and borders
